From the end of June to September, Arjan Kroon (owner of the campsite) takes the guests of Kampeerterrein Buitenduin for a walk through the Schoorl dunes. Arjan grew up in Schoorl and works for the voluntary fire brigade and knows the forest and dune area like the back of his hand. He tells about the vegetation, history, fun anecdotes, fire (prevention), plants and animals. Walks last between 1.5 and 2 hours and good walking shoes are an advantage.
