Toilet block
The large toilet block was completely renovated in the winter of 2020-2021 and refurbished in a sustainable way. In the new layout, the COVID-19 requirements have been taken into account, so that as many cranes as possible work on a sensor. The toilets are equipped with the ‘stench without smelling’ extraction system.
All washbasins have hot and cold water and a power outlet.
There are 2 family shower rooms, 1 with a baby bath and changing mat and both with a high and low shower head. Showers are free to use and operate with a sensor that indicates the time remaining.
For the children there is a children’s toilet and also a washbasin at the children’s height.
Guests with a mild disability can use an extra wide toilet room with grab rails and, if necessary, one of the family shower rooms where a grab rail or shower stool fits.
The hot water for the showers is heated by the solar panels on the roof and the electricity is generated by the PV panels on the roof. These joint panels ensure that the toilet building is almost energy neutral.
Daily fresh bread and pastries
Fresh bread is delivered every day from ‘Echte Bakker Mol’ at Schoorl to the campsite. If you want to have breakfast with fresh rolls, croissants or just a slice of whole wheat or white bread, order before 20:00 via the app.
It is also possible to order pastries and delicious cakes. Delicious with coffee or on the way during a walk or bike ride.
You can order everything via the Camping Comfort app and pick it up at the reception between 8:30 am and 10:00 am.
Packaged ice cream
Packaged ice cream from Ola is sold at Restaurant TIB. From an ice cream to the delicious classic cone with strawberry or chocolate flavor. Prices from €0.60 to €2.00. In 2024, the range will be expanded with ice cream from NICE. This is ice cream without added sugars, preservatives and colorings.
Chemical toilet and dirty water
In the middle of the camping site and on the edge of the parking lot is a stone building where you can empty and hose down your chemical toilet cassette.
Next to the building is a drain where a camper can discharge its dirty water and a tap with which the water tank can be filled with drinking water.
Laundry & Fridge
The launderette, located in the small toilet block near reception, contains a professional washing machine and dryer. Both work on euro coins and the detergent can be collected free of charge at the reception.
There is also a separate spin dryer for hand washing.
The launderette has a large fridge/freezer, which can be used by our guests free of charge.
Waste
Waste has been segregated at Kampeerterrein Buitenduin for almost 40 years. The recycling center opposite the reception is therefore designed in such a way that our guests can also participate in this. In the Camping Comfort app, under facilities, you can see exactly what can be thrown in which color bin in our region.
You can even leave batteries, small electrical appliances and small chemical waste here.
Do you have larger pieces such as a (front) tent, poles or cupboards? You can bring these yourself in Schoorl to the municipal yard.
Library
Opposite the reception there is a library where you can borrow or leave books. Magazines, Donald Ducks and Tina’s are also there. Do you have your magazine from home? Please, don’t throw it with the old paper, but put it in the library!
In the launderette there is a bookshelf with English and German books.
