The nicest campsite in Schoorl for the entire family

Camping Buitenduin is located in the middle of North Holland, close to the Schoorlse Dunes. We are a small
child-friendly family campsite, located in the wooded area of ​​Schoorl in the municipality of Bergen. The center and the entrance to the Schoorlse Duinen and the forest are about 500 meters away. The Schoorl beach and the sea are only 5.5 km away on foot or by bike.
The campsite has pitches for tents, caravans, folding trailers and small campers. The campsite is a wonderful base for days out, with and without children, in nature. Activities in nature, by the sea, relaxing walks and beautiful cycling routes are plentiful. Athletes can indulge themselves on the challenging MTB course and runners have a wide choice of paved and unpaved routes. In the spring, the first bulb fields are already 9 km away.

ACSI gives Buitenduin Campsite an honorable mention!

We have received an honorable mention at the ACSI Awards 2024. This means that we are among the most chosen campsites in the Netherlands. A result we are proud of. Thank you very much if you also voted for us and hopefully see you at our beautiful campsite.

What’s new?

  • Our camping pitches for family tents and caravans have new names, namely Comfort pitches (formerly standard pitch) and Comfort pitches XL (formerly comfort pitch). All these pitches are Comfort pitches, because they are all equipped with electricity, water and drainage.
  • A number of Comfort pitches and Comfort pitches XL can only be booked online if you come with a family of 3 or more people. These places are called Family Comfort Place and Family Comfort Place XL and have a view or are within hearing distance of the playground.
  • 2 houses have been demolished, so we have been able to create 2 extra Family Comfort places near the playground and the toilet building.

  • The friendly and committed staff.
  • Our Restaurant TIB with new ideas and new dishes.
  • The fantastic location against the most beautiful nature in Schoorl.

What are we still looking for?

We currently have a vacancy for an additional employee for 24 hours a week.

Our gates will open again for the new season from Friday, March 22, 2024.

We wish to point out that pets are not allowed on Kampeerterrein Buitenduin.

Our Camping Pitches

Our camping pitches are suitable for family tents, trailer tents, caravans and campers (<7.5 meters). On the map these are the green places. Reservations are highly recommended for the most beautiful places, especially in the early and late season.
For hikers and cyclists with a trekking tent, there is always a trekking tent site available and reservations are not necessary.

We have Family Comfort pitches (XL) for families with children. Visible on the map from 2024.

From 2024 you can immediately choose your preferred location by selecting it on the interactive map.
